Congratulations for making the choice to create some everlasting memories...we look forward to shooting you! The following is a bit of a guide of how the session will work, so you can get the most out of your experience.

The 40 over 40 project is a way for women over 40 to celebrate how far they've come on their life's journey. The goal is to empower women to embrace all that has gotten them to where they are so far! The project will hopefully culminate in a book full of inspirational stories and beautiful portraits of fabulous women. There may even be a book launch party and exhibition.

Once we confirm your appointment, we’ll send you some helpful hints to make your experience an outstanding success. There’s skin care info to help you prepare for makeup, some dressing tips and other handy hints. This is YOUR experience, so ask plenty of questions, throw out plenty of ideas and immerse yourself in the fun! Feel free to  create a mood board on Pinterest, email some inspo pix or sketch out some ideas. We’re here for you and the lines of communication are always open.

Whether you're having your photo session at our studio or on location, you’ll notice all our attention is on you, from your makeup session on arrival, through to your order placement when you’re done. We only ever serve one client at a time, so it's an exclusive experience just for you (unless you book with friends), so you’ll get our undivided attention from the time you arrive, until you've placed your order and headed home. Our products will be on display so you can see and feel the quality. We have plenty of advice on displaying your memories also.

Elegant Glamour + Boudoir is a home based studio in a very private yard, with fish ponds and lots of greenery. There's the studio with a private room off to one side where you can change outfits during your studio session. We have a great sound system where we can play your favourite music during your shoot as well if you wish. All of this creates a tranquil atmosphere where you can forget about the world for a couple of hours.

With thorough posing instructions throughout your photography session, you don’t need to worry about nerves, we’ve got your back! This is an experience you will never forget or regret!

With tips on how to pose and a relaxing atmosphere, even though you’re probably nervous, don't worry, we know how to create precious memories and WOW photographs for you!
